Trying to grow my IG account by interacting with posts from cities near my area, however when I go to these locations under the "Places" tab in search, none of the photos load. On other accounts that I have, this feature works - however not on the one that I'm trying to grow. Does anyone have similar issues?

The first thing to check is that you have your ‘Location’ setting switched on.

If the problem persists:

Check you have the latest update for Instagram, and download it if you don’t. Once it’s finished updating, restart your device again and see whether you’re still encountering problems.

Try logging into your account on other devices and see whether the Location Feature is available on others. If it is, it might be an issue caused by your specific device, rather than something to do with Instagram. In this case, it’s best to contact customer support.

Bizarrely, some users claim that logging out, changing their password, and then logging back in corrects the issue, although it’s hard to say why this might be the case.

Reinstalling the app is the next step to try. You can delete it and do a complete fresh install.

Do you still have this problem? I have it too (Android)...

Looking at the locations, I can only see the most liked posts, or the posts of the people I'm following.

Mine solved itself overnight! Insta must’ve pushed an update, it did take a week or so though - hopefully a patch comes your way soon!

Correct - the same. Works ok in desktop or through the website instead of the app. The app isn't working
