UK wise - Base.com £31.49

Tue 1st Nov 2016

I"m just going to wait for some "rich and bored" person on reddit to buy it for me.

*

Tue 1st Nov 2016

Since I don"t have a Target, Best Buy, or Toys R Us within an hour"s drive from me, it looks like GameStop or Walmart is my best bet. I want the poster, so I"ll go with GameStop.

Tue 1st Nov 2016

For Canada the best deal is on Amazon.ca if you are a prime member 20% off which brings it down to $39.99 per game or for the Steelbook bundle it"s $108.47 with tax I think ( I got this). Best Buy Canada has the dual pack for $99.99 plus tax.

The steelbook edition on Amazon.com is $89.99. I looked it up back when it was announced.

So many stuffs...Btw, the 2DS bundle looks nice but looks unmatching with Solgaleo color. Better paired with Lunala I guess...Anyway, I have pre-ordered the Sun for sure.

Tue 1st Nov 2016

With Best Buy you can get video game discounts with a gamers club unlocked membership. You get 20% off new games, 10% off pre-owned. The neat thing is that the 20% discount even works with amiibos. Aaaalso, if you can get them to ad match targets 2 get one free, sicknesss. Aaaaalso, targets website has games listed for $25 like Pokémon y, Mario 3d land, really cool

Tue 1st Nov 2016

UK - Grainger games has the fan edition steelbook for £38.99 with a "free" Sun/Moon pin (or £34.99 for the standard edition) http://www.graingergames.co.uk/pokemon-moon-sun

Tue 1st Nov 2016

Just had a message on my 3DS saying about paying for a preload from eShop

Tue 1st Nov 2016

That 2DS looks pretty cool, and the price is an absolute steal. NA, get on it, quick! This"ll sell A LOT of units over here!

I"m going to do a wild run to various stores that Friday. I don"t want to shop online and then wait a few days for it to arrive, or pay more then the gas I"ll use up driving for overnight shipping. No, I won"t preorder either. That doesn"t mean I"ll walk out with a copy in hand at my local stores. It"s usually given away to someone who beat me to the door. With 10+ stores that I"m willing to drive to, someone has to have a copy.

Tue 1st Nov 2016

Because GameStop refuses to keep up with the competition, I think they"re going to lose big on this release. I was hoping for some kind of cool item. For instance, when my then girlfriend–now wife, and I ordered Heart Gold and Soul Silver we got these cool little guys:

*

I"m just saying if all you offer is a measly poster, with no discount at all, you"re going to get steamrolled by competitors.

Now if you excuse me, I"ve got some preordering to do on Amazon...

Tue 1st Nov 2016

Already preordered the steelbox versions of both games at the local GameStop (alongside the Solgaeo-Lunaala 3DS and the official guide, not that I"d need the latter but as a merch of sorts). It"s gonna be expensive but I"m okay with that.

Tue 1st Nov 2016

http://www.gameseek.co.uk/pd/VideoGamespvj715me3f/%7BMW%7D?gclid=COfU2on0h9ACFSKx7QodIcoMKQ is cheapest for the UK at £31.49

Tue 1st Nov 2016

In the UK, TheGameCollection have the games plus a keyring for £32.85 each.http://www.thegamecollection.net/games/pokemon-sun-moon.html

Tue 1st Nov 2016

If you ordered the blue 2DS in the US wouldn"t it be region locked? Seems like that is on the wrong list.

Tue 1st Nov 2016

I ordered my copy of Moon from GAME while they still had the figure promotion available, and they had a 10% off preorders promotion running at the time, making it just £31.49.I also asked for Sun with the figure for Christmas and gave them the details of the offer, but they left it too late and ended up having to order from the Nintendo UK store for £39.99 in order to get the figure.

Tue 1st Nov 2016

Hungary, Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia are getting a cool Deluxe Edition for around £55.

Tue 1st Nov 2016

I think the cheapest in UK is with simplygames.com for £34.85 with a cool bracelet as a bonus. Normal edition £4 cheaper for £30.85 Don"t forget 3% cashback as well! http://www.simplygames.com/search?keywords=pokemon

SzDavid99 Wow, that is amazing!

Tue 1st Nov 2016

I stopped buying games at gamestop recently because of the best buy and Amazon 20% off deals. I"ve never been more free.

Tue 1st Nov 2016

Just saying I believe that for the Gamestop poster reward one has to pre-order BOTH games, which might be something many people (myself included) don"t want to do. "Pre-Order Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon at GameStop and receive a Double Sided Poster!"(emphasis mine).

I love posters, but will not be getting both games for one

Tue 1st Nov 2016

SzDavid99 Damn.I"d gladly get the Moon one.

Tue 1st Nov 2016

I almost never pre-order games, especially when there is no bonus for doing so. I have Gamers Club Unlocked, so I"ll just pick up a copy there for $32 the weekend of release.

Tue 1st Nov 2016

I was just gonna pick up a copy day one at Walmart. ( Since in the past on day one all other stores sell out fast when it comes to Pokemon games ) That Amazon price for $31.99 pushed me to preorder though. Just ordered Sun and Moon. Sun for me and Moon for my wife.

Tue 1st Nov 2016

I pre-ordered Moon at Gamestop a few weeks ago. Didn"t realize I"d be getting a poster Although, Gamestop use to have cooler pre-order bonuses. Posters are cool but it"s not exactly hype intensifying :/ ohh well. At least it"s something.

Tue 1st Nov 2016

Toys R Us also gives a free 3ds case when game comes out if you buy from there

Tue 1st Nov 2016

Nintendo already took my $80 when I preloaded from the eshop this morning. Now playing the waiting game...

Tue 1st Nov 2016

I preordered with Game UK (the first time I"ve ever done that) in order to get my copy with a Lunala figurine. I"m hoping they"ll throw in the Alola postcard in there considering its now featured with the figure now. ^_^

Wed 2nd Nov 2016

Target has a preorder card that specifies you can get a $5 target gift card when you pick up your preorder. Not too bad, buy some free snacks when you pick up your game.

Wed 2nd Nov 2016

Is the ring and crystals just gimmicks? Do you need them to get the most out of the game? I preordered on Amazon.ca a while back for my boys, but didn"t know there were physical accessories for the game.

Wed 2nd Nov 2016

At a certain point I stopped caring about special or limited editions, posters and statues. I just want to play the game and all the other stuff just collects dust and I have to find a place to keep it.

So now I just buy most of my games standard edition or digital, I always enjoy watching gamers all over the globe worry about all these extras though.

I"ll be buying Sun and Moon digital and physical for trading purposes, haven"t pre-ordered and I don"t think it will be necessary...or should I?

Wed 2nd Nov 2016

I know it"s a pretty sure bet with something like Pokemon but please don"t promote preordering guys. It really does lead to a lot of nonsense and damage in the industry.

Wed 2nd Nov 2016

It might be worth adding Best Buy to the US section of this article, since the game will be $31.99 there up until 2 weeks after release for Best Buy Gamer"s Club members.

Wed 2nd Nov 2016

Jasonmd The only thing that sucks is that they don"t have older games or PS2 games. If they did I"d be all over that.

Fri 11th Nov 2016

I normally don"t get physical copies but that Amazon is just too good to pass up. You have to be stupid not to do that if you always buy a Pokemon.

Fri 11th Nov 2016

I"m kind of regretting my Gamestop pre-order but whatever.

Fri 11th Nov 2016

It"s worth mentioning that there"s a Dual Pack at BestBuy as well, which gives a code for 200 free poke balls in-game

Fri 11th Nov 2016

Amazon.co.uk prices are amazing thanks to brexit. The sun/moon N3DS XL is €269.99 in ireland. I"m getting both games (both fan editions) and the above 3DS for €269.13 so it"s a no brainer

Fri 11th Nov 2016

£30 at Toys R us. For either version

Fri 11th Nov 2016

MadameSpuki Depending on when you ordered it, the figures are all gone as they were Phase 1.

The Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon Alola Region Art Cards are Phase 2.I know as I have contacted GAME HQ and Nintendo as I know people there, don"t I
DoctorOverbuild?

Fri 11th Nov 2016

Alundra-1998 I preordered it back in August so I"m hoping to get the figure, surely. I wasn"t even aware of the phases. :x

Fri 11th Nov 2016

MadameSpuki I believe you should be fine as they only ran out of figures within the last month or so.

If you ordered in store, check with staff. If you ordered online, I would recommend going with Nintendo UK Official Store for the item.

My friend ordered from GAME and has recently moved his preorder over to the Nintendo UK Official Store due to them not knowing if he would get the figures.

My local GAME said they would make sure I got the figures regardless somehow.

Fri 11th Nov 2016

I"m returning my free game from the Target B2G1 free deal and exchanging it for cash at Walmart so that I can finish paying off my pre-order at GameStop.

Fri 11th Nov 2016

I pre-ordered both Sun & Moon for my sister for her two sons, Toys"R"Us, £29.99 each and free delivery, £3 cashback using Quidco, not too shabby, my sister is well pleased. Also able to use my partners Toys"R"Us Gold loyalty card too, though I"ve no idea what good that does. Good luck everyone, enjoy!

Fri 11th Nov 2016

Eh, I"m just going to preload it on the Eshop tonight.

Fri 11th Nov 2016

Already got my eshop credits charged up. Only thing left is deciding which version I will get.

Sat 12th Nov 2016

I"m going to be a sneaky snake and try to price match Pokemon Sun at Best Buy to $31.99, then get an additional 20% off with my Gamers Club Unlocked.

Sat 12th Nov 2016

I really want that Solgaleo Figurine, sucks that it isn"t sold with US copies. :

Sat 12th Nov 2016

Target should also price match Toys "R Us"s price if you ask at the store, though that requires to be done once it comes out.

Sat 12th Nov 2016

Did Amazon change Moon to digital-only? I cancelled my order from Toys R Us after seeing that Amazon has it at the same price and after reading some Toys R Us game preorder horror stories, but now I see they only have it digitally? I was going to get Moon for my little bro, but now I"m uncertain if he"ll be okay with digital.

Sat 12th Nov 2016

Oh, just one week away? Oh, how time flies! If only the five days inbetween the "worldwide" (AKA everywhere except europe!!) release and the european release weren"t there! I"m sorry but I just can"t wrap my head around how they managed to get a worldwide release in XY but not here!

Sat 12th Nov 2016

I"ve gotten too old for special editions etc. You can"t take it with you when you go.Also, get off my lawn!

Sat 12th Nov 2016

I already preordered from Gamestop. Not sure whether to regret not getting a steelbook edition or whatever, but whatever.*Edit: double "whatever" fully intentional.

Sat 12th Nov 2016

Anybody know any Super Mario Maker Preorder bonuses?

Sat 12th Nov 2016

Huh, my kids don"t seem all that interested in Pokemon anymore... now it"s all about Yo-Kai Watch in my household, wtf?! The boys actually told me to cancel our preorder for Sun & Moon! I"m still going to order it, maybe save it as a present for them for Christmas. Ordered a copy of Dragon Ball Fusions for them too.

Sat 12th Nov 2016

That 2DS Sun bundle is clearly not the "United States" bundle. Unless Trump"s going PEGI.Probably the most aesthetically pleasing 2DS I"ve seen (the Famicom buttons help with that).I"m kind of intrigued by the Ltd. Edition New XL they have. Not as beautiful as my Metal Slime Vita, but it"s nice enough.

Sat 12th Nov 2016

Do you have to preorder to get the discounted price at Toys r Us?

Sun 13th Nov 2016

i order SUN DELUXE EDITION ---- include followinggamesteel bookfigurebooka badgestickersspecial box

53€

Sun 13th Nov 2016

If you trade in games towards a pre order at GameStop in the US you get 40% extra credit to use.

Mon 14th Nov 2016

Just a head ups for people who will get both games, they are only really 4 version exclusive "mons (the cover legendaries and 2 ultra beasts)

You can access the other "mons version exclusive encounters via a post game event.

Mon 14th Nov 2016

... Why is GameStop charging $25 for the $15 guide?? And also, do they price match?

Thu 17th Nov 2016

Here in The Netherlands, I ordered it for just E36,95 at Media Markt:

http://www.mediamarkt.nl/nl/product/_pok%C3%A9mon-sun-3ds-1454127.html

You can also get it for 17 euros in exchange for two 3DS games at Game Mania stores.
